2022 has been an eventful year for the AfriBlocks community. Throughout the year, we have hosted and attended networking and business events that have helped our community to grow further. As we conclude 2022 and look at the year to come, we want to look back and reflect on some of the highlights of the AfriBlocks community as they happened in 2022.

AfriBlocks Impact and Success Stories
African professionals are at the center of the platform that AfriBlocks has set out to build. The goal is to provide African talent with a platform through which they can provide businesses and individuals across the world with the services they need. In so doing, African professionals have an opportunity to explore the full extent of their capabilities in the different industries they are skilled.
“It all came to me in a dream,” Dr. Fanuel Murove, CEO and founder of Accoleisure, says as he begins to describe how he came up with this innovative idea. Zimbabwe is a country that boasts a wide variety of tourist destinations, including one of the Seven Wonders Of The World but has little information available about its gems. Despite having so many beautiful sights that have the potential to attract admirers from all over the world, there isn’t enough information available to these potential patrons on where they can go if they decide to visit.
AfriBlocks will be co-hosting the 2021 Black Blockchain Summit alongside its industry partners, BillMari and BitHub Africa. The three-day summit will be held in Washington D.C, USA, from 24-26 September. The summit is open to everyone interested in learning more about blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, NFTs to mention a few.
Here at AfriBlocks, we feel a strong sense of commitment to our customers and the freelancers powering our platform. As we strive to equip our freelancers with everything needed to perform at a high level and nurture their talents, upskilling is a critical component of our program.
